The Ford Maverick is a small pickup that offers drivers a fuel-efficient and capable small truck. Not only does the Maverick provide practical usage, but it is also attractive. The modern Maverick has so much to offer our customers here in Abbeville that we encourage you to custom order yours now to beat the rush.

The Maverick rides on the same chassis of the Bronco Sport and has a hybrid powertrain standard. The Maverick has a four-door crew cab. The result is a firm, strong ride that touts a surprising maximum payload.

Features

The XL and XLT trims are great work trucks that offer practicality as well as efficiency. Plus, adding a few optional packages or going up the ladder of trim levels will provide Erath drivers with all the features they could want from Ford.

The Maverick offers four full-sized doors and a 4.5 foot bed. The interior offers a full-sized back seat, and there is a large amount of cargo space under the rear seat. The Flexbed of the Maverick offers up to ten tie-downs, a multi-position tailgate and a 110-volt outlet. Those tie-downs also function as bottle openers for tailgating events around Maurice.

Basic features include remote keyless entry, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, audio controls on the steering wheel and adjustable lumbar support on the front seats.

Performance

The base engine of the Ford Maverick is a 2.5 four-cylinder which is paired with an electric motor and a continuously variable automatic transmission. This powertrain offers drivers up to 191 horsepower, and it is offered exclusively with front-wheel drive.

The optional engine choice is a full-gas powertrain, consisting of a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that's paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain offers drivers up to 250 horsepower. Youngsville drivers may opt for all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive with this powertrain combination.

The Maverick is not going to tow that fifth-wheel or heavy machinery, but it is a workhorse. The basic Maverick can tow up to 2,000 pounds, the equivalent of a small aluminum fishing boat or a ski boat. However, the optional gas-powered Maverick powertrain paired with the optional Towing Package increases the tow rating of the Maverick to 4,000 pounds, which is about the weight of a pontoon boat or a motorboat.

The Maverick can also support a maximum payload of up to 1,500 pounds. This makes the Maverick a great choice for hauling appliances or moving furniture across Delcambre, on occasion.

Infotainment and Connectivity

All Maverick trims are outfitted with an 8-inch touchscreen with which to access the infotainment system. A Wi-Fi hotspot is a standard feature, and New Iberia drivers can use this to easily access Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™. If you would like an upgraded sound system and SiriusXM® satellite radio, you can do just this by choosing a higher trim level. Wireless smartphone charging is also available on the Maverick.

Safety Features

All Ford Maverick trucks will be equipped with a basic Ford Co-Pilot360™ safety system. This means drivers will enjoy blind spot monitoring, lane keeping assist and lane departure warnings as well as forward collision warnings. In order to enjoy upgraded safety features, drivers will need to choose one of the higher trim levels. Adaptive cruise control is an available safety feature in higher trim levels.

Trim Levels

The Ford Maverick is available in three trims:

  • XL
  • XLT
  • Lariat
