While the overall structure of the Ford F-350 has stayed mostly the same for the 2025 model year, there are some pretty interesting updates. For a truck from the best-selling line of vehicles for nearly 50 years, the Ford F-350 has a lot to offer drivers in Abbeville beyond its best-in-class towing.

Engine Reshuffle

One of the updates is that the famed 6.8-liter V8 is now the standard engine on the XLT and Lariat trims. Paired with a ten-speed automatic, this powertrain makes 400 horsepower and 485 pound-feet of torque. Great for hard-working drivers from Maurice.

Easier Towing

While the F-350 can tow up to 40,000 pounds, towing that much weight is now easier with the 2025 Ford F-350. On some trims, the Ford F-350 can be equipped with an onboard scale system that allows drivers near New Iberia to know the weight of the trailer they are towing without guessing or finding a scale. A built-in trailer brake is now available on the XL trim, making towing easier across the line. Trailer tire pressure can also be monitored in the cab, along with more cameras to offer a better view when towing.

More Power

Not that kind of power, the electric kind. A great option for contractors and weekend warriors from Erath alike, the King Ranch and Platinum trims can be equipped with a 2-kW Pro Power system that allows for running 120-volt equipment from the F-350.

A Few New Colors

Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat and Avalanche Metallic Tinted Clearcoat are new colors available on the Ford F-150; both would look great in Delcambre.
